Hello World!

I consider myself a very passionate game designer that values clear communication and well written documents over tedious meetings and never-ending email chains.
Practicing what I preach, even though my personal projects are only worked on by myself, I still take the time to document and project plan as much as possible before getting to actually implement anything.Outside of work, I try to stay up to date on relevant games that are being released, as well as staying active both inside the industry as well as on my own for the sake of my physical well being.I love working with other people. Again, my work with event organizing, both inside and outside of the industry proves as much. But more so than anything, I do love to learn from others, as I believe that you're never really done learning!

Fun (?) Facts

Scariest things I've done?:Pack all my stuff and move to a different country for a job. (Goodbye Oslo, hello Berlin!)

Personal Projects

Gamers Get Together

Organizer | Co-Owner

04 2017 - Present

Monthly Game Industry Networking Event

Starting off in the Game Development Industry is hard. Most established studios are closed off and the ability to Meet & Greet is mostly inaccessible unless you attend different conferences in and around Europe (Norway’s GameDev scene is fairly small).
Realized very early on that there was a need for a casual networking event - which has turned Gamers Get Together into what it is today. Two colleagues in Snowcastle Games were introduced and vetted through GGT by myself through this event.

Personal Project Discord Server

Organizer | Admin

06 2021 - Present

Personal Project Community

I was missing a creative community to keep up with during the pandemic, so I started my own. The Discord server is a collection of Friends & Friends of Friends (~130+ people) gathering to show off and share anything new that they’re working on - incentivising a lot of skill sharing across multiple disciplines.
